It’s almost a given that at some point The Joker will fuck with Batman by messing with his sidekicks. While in the comics Tim Drake has grown to be one of the most independent guys to bear the mantle of Robin (and the only one to face the Joker alone AND beat him), in an alternative future he wound up becoming a pawn of The Clown Prince of Crime who brainwashed him and made him point a gun to his mentor and father figure. Tim overcomes the Joker’s manipulations but at the cost of his integrity and almost his sanity when he’s forced to kill The Joker to save Batman.
